First we were handed cups with 8 pepper mints in the cup.We acted like it was money.Then the teacher told us who ever had glasses on had to pay 4 pepper mints or if did were glasses you had to pay 4 pepper mints also and if you had shoes tied you had to pay 6 pepper mints.

I think the colonies felt really mad and sad because they had to pay taxes on all sorts of things like tea and newspaper and stuff.
